Fundraising

The Fundraising Department at Alder Hey is responsible for raising charitable funds and co-ordinating all fundraising activities relating to the hospital. Our work includes partnerships with local, regional and national businesses; community based fundraising with individuals, schools, and local organisations; as well as work with charitable trusts and foundations.

Donations received help make the difference to the excellence work that is carried out at Alder Hey, and may fund anything from capital developments and medical equipment, to toys, games and art supplies for the children. We are always happy to offer help and advice to anyone who wishes to raise money for the hospital, and look forward to hearing from you!

Make a Donation

The hospital charity is registered with the Charity Commission as the Royal Liverpool Children's Charitable Fund  (No 1049275).

Gifts in Kind
We often receive gifts for the children which is wonderful and we are always very grateful for new toys, arts & crafts materials and books etc. There are however some things we can’t accept due to infection control and health & safety:

We can’t accept:

• Used soft toys
• Second-hand toys
• Food (i.e cakes or sweets without ingredients list)
• Clothes

Don't forget the age group you're donating to is 0 - 18 years - teenagers are often forgotten…

Be a Fundraiser
Funds raised by our supporters make a huge difference to the work carried out at Alder Hey. There are lots of innovative ways in which you could be a fundraiser for the hospital, either on your own or with a group of friends. Organise events, put on challenges and have some fun in the process! Contact Irene Axon in the Fundraising Office for a Fundraising Pack to help you with some ideas!

Buy Merchandise
