The Undergraduate Office at the Royal Liverpool Children’s
NHS Trust Alder Hey is responsible for all Medical Student attachments
at the Hospital.
We accept a limited number of British and Overseas Medical students
for electives for four weeks only from the end of June to late
July.
This elective attachment must not be part of a student’s
official training as there is no structured teaching. An elective
is regarded as an opportunity to gain further experience in a speciality,
in our case paediatrics. Students must have completed at least
one year of clinical training and their English must be of good
standard.
We are over subscribed for July 2006 and are not accepting any
more applications. If you wish to be considered for June/July 2007,
please apply after 3 January 2007 to Jean
Maguire.
Students wishing to apply for an internship or F1 post should
apply to the Mersey Deanery and contact Karen
Murrell. |
