Alternative Ascot Ladies Event

The North West’s largest alternative Ascot Ladies Day celebrates its 13th anniversary this year.
Once again the sights and sounds of the renowned Berkshire course will be recreated at Aintree when over 450 ladies will celebrate their own Royal Ascot Ladies Day at the world famous Aintree Racecourse next Thursday, June 21st. The event has now graduated to the largest function room the racecourse has in order to accommodate the growing list of those wishing to join in the fun.
As usual, racing will be beamed live from Ascot to the home of the Grand National and punters compete for race prizes in order to raise funds for Alder Hey Imagine Appeal. This year Crystal Clear and Tangle Teezer are amongst the individual race sponsors. In addition, Wongs the jewellers have donated a matching solid silver bangle and a double link pendant from their Ti Sento range.
Chris Done, Head of Fundraising said, “This is such a popular event that we don’t need to advertise for ticket sales as people come back year after year. Our ladies make a huge effort with outfits and look amazing. They have a great time, win prizes and raise much needed funds for Alder Hey – winners all round!”
The event has raised around £140,000 for Alder Hey since it began.
